The Reality of E-Learning under The Corona Pandemic from The Point of View of History Teachers in Baghdad Governorate

الملخص

This study aimed to know the reality of e-learning in light of the Corona pandemic from the point of view of science teachers in Madaba Governorate, where the researcher used the descriptive analytical approach in order to achieve the objectives of the study by applying a special questionnaire to a sample of (500) male and female science teachers. General for the basic stage.

The results of the study showed: that there are real obstacles facing learners during education in light of the Corona pandemic from the point of view of teachers of science subject, where the estimates of the study sample were high about the obstacles, as the researcher believes that learning Remotely, it requires remote communication competencies and computer competencies, which are competencies that students have not trained in, which created difficulties in understanding messages and instructions from the first time, and some students are not trained to deal with computers and smart phones. The results also showed that there are no differences, and this applies to the variable of specialization, and the variable of the academic year.

The study recommended several recommendations, the most important of which are: investing in the positive directives for students towards a distance, developing plans and programs to benefit from these directives, and giving training courses in the field of distance education to both students and teachers. Emphasizing the need for educational institutions to pay attention to the introduction of e-learning in school education, and to spread e-culture among students to achieve the greatest degree of interaction with this type of education. Providing an appropriate educational structure for the application of e-learning in the school and removing all human, material and technical obstacles that prevent its spread in the educational system in various stages and fields.
