The Narrative Structure of the Iraqi and Iranian Novelist, Indications of Origin and Depth of Experience

Abstract

Might be the first thing that is of interest to the scholar and presents such a subject is to stand on a known issue leads us to recognize that this genre, like all other literary genres subjects to the development of the total social transformations in any country. In this sense, the novel has shown a significant activity until it became the mainstream of Arabic writing, the position that poetry had over a long period of time and how it has greatly influenced the Arab mentality. Modern Arabic literature, although inspired by Western narrative styles, its roots in the traditional Arabic form inspired the Western style. In the first two centuries, Iranian literature did not emerge as a national literature because the effect of Islamic style that dominated in many countries affected by Islamic style. Modern Iranian literature is like modern Iraqi literature, influenced by the modern ideas and genres that carry the Western style. Here we must take into consideration that the origin of the modern literature in Iraq or Iran is one which is the Western style. In this regard, the researcher, if he wants to make a comparison between the Arabic and Persian prose through a translated book between these two languages, he will find that the original and translated book are identical, just the difference in the style of each language and how it is preferred by their natives.
