The Impact of Strategic Intelligence on Strategic Flexibility in Engineering Industrial Companies in Jordan

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the impact of strategic intelligence on the strategic flexibility of engineering industrial companies in Jordan. Where (400) questionnaires were distributed to the employees of these companies, (350) questionnaires were retrieved, yielding a total response rate of 87.5%. It is adequate for analysis.

The study's findings revealed that there is an impact of strategic intelligence in its dimensions (strategic vision, organized thinking, partnership, motivation) on strategic flexibility in Jordanian engineering industrial firms, and that the level of strategic intelligence in its various dimensions in Jordanian engineering industrial firms was moderate, with an arithmetic mean of (3.61 while the level of strategic flexibility in its various dimensions was high, with an arithmetic mean of (3.78).

The study suggested increasing interest in researching workers in Jordanian industrial engineering firms to develop, design, and innovate smart solutions to complex problems that they may encounter at work, as well as developing a system of moral and material incentives for individuals working in companies, as well as getting rid of routine work procedures and moving away from bureaucracy in completing transactions and conducting more studies. The future of strategic intelligence, particularly the role of strategic alliances in increasing strategic flexibility.
