Exploring the extent to which Scope 1.4 leaders practice transformational leadership and its relationship to the quality of school leadership performance from the academic staff’s point of view
(An action research)
Abstract
The research aims to identify the reality of the practice of transformational leadership Cluster 1.4 and its relationship to the quality of school leadership from the educational staff point of view. The researcher adopted the quantitative approach, and the questionnaire was the tool ,for collecting digital and written data . It was adopted by the researcher Suleiman Al-Abdouli in his research entitled Transformational leadership and its relationship to the quality of performance. A random sample of (237) educational staff (teachers and administrators) was selected, and the data was analyzed using the statistical program SPSS. The study reached several results: Cluster 1.4 practices transformational leadership and has the quality of school leadership. Also, Cluster 1.4 has quality School performance and thus has the quality of school leadership, Therefore, it has the quality of school leadership. The results also revealed that there is a statistically significant correlation at the significance level (α = 0.01) between transformational leadership and the quality of school performance. It should be noted that the value of the correlation coefficient between them is positive, with a strong and direct relationship. This means that the greater the application of transformational leadership, the higher the quality of school performance in the range of 1.4.Also, there are no statistically significant differences at the significance level (α = 0.05) in the study sample’s estimates of the practice of transformational leadership due to demographic variables (age, gender, educational level, current job, school principal’s gender, number of years of experience, seminar), The researcher also recommends continuing the activation of transformational leadership work within Cluster 1.4, raising awareness of the effectiveness of transformational leadership and its impact on the quality of school performance, increasing attention to employees’ personal needs within Cluster 1.4, and supporting and strengthening everyone who implements transformational leadership methods within Cluster 1.4.
