Analytical Study of the Section on Usul (Foundations) in the Book "Al-Mubhaj" by Sibt Al-Khayyat

Abstract

The study examines analytically the book "Al-Mubhaj" by Sibt Al-Khayyat in the field of Usul. The researcher adopted an inductive methodology, covering a wide translation of the author's work, introducing and defining it, and mentioning the readings, narratives, and methods found in the book. Additionally, the research addressed Sibt Al-Khayyat's methodology in the field of Usul and the unique aspects of "Al-Mubhaj". The research reached several conclusions, the most important of which is that "Al-Mubhaj" contains 12 readings, including 117 narratives and methods. Sibt Al-Khayyat's methodology in the field of Usul relies on mentioning the frequency of the occurrence of different terms, then listing their occurrences in the Quran, followed by presenting the readers' opinions. Occasionally, some definitions are mentioned, linguistic guidance is emphasized, and occasionally unfamiliar terminologies are used.
