The Reality of Activities Practiced in Leisure Time among Tabuk University Students in light of the Requirements of the Life Quality Program
Abstract
Humanitarian building is the real wealth of building nations, and the issue of human development and sustainable development is considered one of the most important issues that countries pay attention to, and it requires the solidarity of all the state’s educational, health, social, sports, cultural, and recreational institutions. In order to improve human physical, mental, and psychological health, and develop positive life values; Which paves the way for a person to live a long life.
In order for a person to live a happy life, he must be provided with all means of balanced living between the requirements of the soul and the needs of the mind and body. This is done by providing a good family environment, a suitable educational climate, and a social environment in which all the necessities of life are available, including studying and a space in which he spends his free time. In which all forms of recreation and entertainment activities are practiced, considering that it is a human right. This is confirmed by human rights laws and international conventions. This is consistent with the goals set by the Quality of Life Programme. In order to provide opportunities to help form an educated citizen who participates in the cultural and social movement led by the Kingdom, by enhancing his participation in social activities, serving his community, developing his mental and physical ability, and upholding societal values within him, which primarily serve himself and reflect positively on his surroundings.
